Amreins Road

This project was a deeply personal one for Rusa, as it was Kent’s own family home. Designed to sit lightly within its natural surroundings, the house blends seamlessly into the landscape. Clad in J. Scott thermally modified Tiaga Wood, the home’s exterior enhances the desired organic, natural feel.

Incorporating energy-efficient features, the home includes solar panels and a backup generator, making it both sustainable and self-sufficient. Significant attention was given to interior finishes, with multiple feature areas showcasing Rusa’s signature craftsmanship.

Rusa also took great pride in the way the home was integrated into the landscape. Extensive planning and careful consideration went into managing site levels, overland flow paths, drainage, and driveways—ensuring both function and aesthetic harmony.
