Salubrious St Heliers
We were approached by a couple from St Heliers who needed their home to be re-clad and their interior to be renovated, due to it being a leaky home built in the 2000’s.
Our team had to navigate their tight site and a shared driveway that was also steep. As well as overcoming these challenging logistics, we were faced with rotting framing timber. We liaised with building surveyors and council and came up with a plan to restore the structural integrity of their home.
We demolished and rebuilt the garage and deck, re-clad their whole house in cedar, built a new ensuite to the master bedroom, carried out a full cosmetic renovation throughout their property, made changes to their roof and applied a waterproof membrane. Their home is not only protected from the elements now, but it also has an attractive new cedar exterior and a stylish and functional interior.
“We worked with Kent and Rusa Construction in 2015-2016 on a complete reclad of our house. It was a technically challenging job, the council is extremely demanding from the consent process, through the construction and then on to granting the Certificate of Completion. Kent was on top of every detail from start to finish. He also performed well after completion, being very responsive to small things that needed fixing. The quality of the work was excellent.
Kent worked very well with the supervising architects, and he and his crew were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. He is calm and very well organised. Rusa would be my first choice for any future work on our house, and I would highly recommend him to other homeowners.”
