Conquering Mt Eden

This was another big old villa, owned by a professional working couple with two kids. The villa had undergone many previous additions but it lacked cohesion and needed further restoration.

The family wanted to upgrade their villa to make it a more functional, comfortable and modern family space, whilst still maintaining the heritage character of their home. As the couple were both working, they needed a construction company that could manage, oversee, and coordinate all of the trades. And like many other villas, there were issues of uneven flooring and poor insulation. This project required a lot of thought and planning as to how RUSA could achieve the best finish.

RUSA renovated the kitchen, bathrooms, living area, and created a deck with a spa. We fitted new joinery throughout, created a portico, and relocated and rebuilt the existing staircase. We project managed all of the trades and completed the work in stages to suit their time and budget.

“We chose Rusa to undertake our major renovation project because they stood out from the crowd for the following reasons.
They listened to what we wanted, how we thought we wanted to achieve what we wanted and why we wanted to approach our house renovation in that particular way.
Kent and his team are good communicators. So this enabled him to come back with a well thought out plan.
This plan was meticulously organised, structured and costed. All the known and potentially unknown variables were accounted for in the plan and the project.
Every step and stage was accounted and communicated so everyone knew what was happening and when.
Kent delivered us our finished project on time and on budget. His team are quick, skilled and finish to a high standard.
Consequently we have used Rusa on subsequent projects and we continue to do so and unhesitatingly recommend Kent and the Rusa construction team.”
