Owned by a retired couple, this 80’s cedar home was just waiting for a design that made the most of the great views of the harbour and Auckland city. The couple wanted a living room and deck extension to maximise both space and the overall enjoyment of their home.

The downside of their great vantage point was their steep site and restricted access. Their home also required engineered beams to support their existing roof, while at the same time maximising their space.

To achieve their goals for their home, we renovated and extended their living room and built an elegant glass balustrade deck for uninterrupted views.
